David Pascoe was elected Solicitor for the First Judicial Circuit and took the Oath of Office on January 14, 2005. The First Circuit is comprised of Orangeburg, Calhoun, and Dorchester Counties.
Solicitor Pascoe graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Citadel in 1989 and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993. After graduating Law School, Solicitor Pascoe went to work as a State Prosecutor with both the Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office. As an Assistant State Prosecutor, he successfully tried over one hundred violent crime cases in front of juries across this state. He was also profiled on Court TV for his successful prosecution of one of this State’s only murder trials where the victim’s body has never been discovered.
Solicitor Pascoe has dedicated his career to fighting crime and pursuing justice. He continues to do so as the Solicitor for the First Judicial Circuit.
